What it is

The Simulation Timekeeper is a lightweight, browser-based timer and action logger built to support healthcare simulation training. It lets users quickly mark key actions and automatically timestamps those events for use in debriefing.

Even though it was designed with clinical simulation in mind, it’s equally useful for any situation where you want fast, easy, time-stamped tracking. Things like:

Keeping meetings on time

Timing drills

Time it takes you to eat 10 cookies

Or maybe you just want a stopwatch with features.

Why it exists

This tool is meant to run on a laptop, tablet, or mobile device with minimal setup.

Key features

Action buttons you can rename per scenario and mark repeatable actions.
Event log with stopwatch time and wall-clock time, plus CSV export for documentation.
Local-first storage (templates and saved sessions stay on the device unless you clear them).

Privacy note: this app stores data in your browser’s localStorage. It does not send your logs anywhere by itself.
