How to Use
The Simulation Timekeeper
Quick start
- Hit Start to begin the timer. Use Pause if you need to stop the clock without ending the session.
- Tap an action button whenever something happens. Each press logs the action at the current time.
- When you’re done, hit End to finalize the session (you can still export after). Use Reset to clear the timer for a new run.
Action buttons (including repeatables)
- Non-repeatable actions can only be logged once per session (the button becomes inactive after the first press).
- Repeatable actions can be logged multiple times. After the first press, the button shows x2, then x3, etc. to make repeat presses obvious.
- If you accidentally hit the wrong action, use the session/event log controls to remove or adjust (if your build includes editing), or restart the session.
Templates (custom button sets)
- Template Editor: rename buttons and set which actions are repeatable.
- Load Template: switch to a saved template.
- Templates and sessions are stored in your browser (local storage). If you use a different device/browser, they won’t automatically follow you.
Saving, exporting, and loading events
- Export downloads a CSV of the current session/event log.
- Load Event shows previously saved sessions so you can Load, Export, or Delete them.
- Clear App Data wipes this app’s saved templates + events from the current browser.
Tip: Keep your action titles short to ensure it's easy to read.
